JoyVoy Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the JoyVoy app (“JoyVoy”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://www.joyvoysocial.com/privacy/). If you do not agree, do not use JoyVoy.

2. Who can use JoyVoy

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give accurate information (name, date of birth, gender, photos, Instagram username) and keep it up to date.
• One person, one member account. You are responsible for everything done with your account; keep your login safe.
• Business accounts must be created by someone authorised to act for the venue.

3. How JoyVoy works

• Venues publish events. Members can request to join; the venue decides whether to accept. A request is not a confirmed place until the venue accepts it.
• Venues may set rules for their events (for example capacity, age or gender limits, dress code). The venue is responsible for its event, entry and service. JoyVoy is not the organiser of events.
• At the event, the venue checks you in with your QR code.
• Many events are offered as complimentary or with perks. What is included is decided by the venue and shown on the event page.

4. Member commitments

When you join an event you agree to:

• arrive on time and follow the event’s rules and the venue’s instructions;
• cancel in the app as early as possible if you cannot attend;
• within 24 hours after the event, post 3 Instagram Stories tagging the venue, and leave a Google review if the app asks for one. Reviews must reflect your honest experience.

If these tasks are not completed in time, you will not be able to book events for 7 days. Repeated no-shows, late cancellations or misconduct reported by venues may also lead to suspension.

We check stories and reviews using public Instagram and Google data (see the Privacy Policy).

5. Business commitments

Businesses agree to:

• publish accurate event information and honour what is offered to accepted members;
• treat members fairly and lawfully, and handle their personal data only to run their events;
• pay JoyVoy’s fees as shown in the app. Invoices are issued for each billing period based on the check-ins recorded at the venue and are payable through Stripe by the due date. Unpaid invoices may lead to the business account being suspended.

6. Your content

• You keep ownership of the photos and text you add. You give JoyVoy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content inside JoyVoy to operate the service, until you delete it or your account.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is illegal, sexual, hateful, violent, misleading or that shows other people without their consent.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not: harass, threaten or discriminate against others; impersonate anyone; create fake accounts or fake bookings; scrape, reverse engineer or overload the app; get around limits or suspensions; or use JoyVoy for unlawful purposes or unsolicited advertising.

You can report or block any user in the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put others at risk, or are required to be closed by law. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete Account or as described at https://www.joyvoysocial.com/delete-account/.

9. Disclaimers and liability

• JoyVoy is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that a particular event, place or perk will be available.
• Venues are independent businesses. We are not responsible for what happens at events, including food, drinks, entry decisions or safety at the venue.
• To the extent allowed by law, JoyVoy is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for members this is normally zero). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above and may also notify you in the app. Continuing to use JoyVoy after a change means you accept it.

11. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, and disputes are subject to the courts of Sharjah, unless the law of your country gives you other mandatory rights.
